Bio
Shae Hadden is committed to bringing what’s at the heart of masterful coaching to open and aware leaders around the world. As an author and coach, she partners with leaders, executive coaches, and leadership development experts to help them effectively articulate ideas that engage people in creating positive, sustainable change. Since 2014, she has been on the SupporTED team that provides coaching to TED Fellows.
Shae has experienced coaching herself as a transformative process and as a pathway towards both developing skills and competencies. As part of training to be a performer, she received coaching in singing, speaking, acting, and dancing. Stepping off the stage, she worked in various capacities behind the scenes within the film, television, and multimedia industries before being coached on the job to become a marketing writer.
After the sudden death of her mother in 2005, Shae sought coaching to reinvent the second half of her life. Through committed work with executive coaches and organizational transformation and culture change consultants, Shae gained a deeper appreciation and understanding of the contributions of these fields during the past few decades. While observing these executive coaches at work, she became curious as to what was at the heart of their mastery and what was essential for clients to achieve the remarkable results that were clearly possible working with them.
